SHAPING A CULTURAL CHANGE
CHALLENGE Inclusion, equity and diversity are important values for GE Appliances. The company is on a continuing journey toward ever-better ways to advance these leadership priorities. For help with communicating their vision to thousands of employees, the Inclusion and Diversity team turned to WordsFresh.
OUR STRATEGY WordsFresh is working with the I&D team to plan and execute communications that advance the company’s culture of inclusion. Communications include overall message strategy, internal communications and video production. We’re proud to help guide the Affinity Networks in planning and executing their annual events.
RESULTS
In 2019, I&D’s signature event, the Inclusion & Diversity Summit, saw a 40% increase in attendees from the previous event.
In 2020, nationwide protests of systemic racism led to new kinds of conversations – and WordsFresh continued to support the team with responsive communications delivered in a virtual world. The timeliness of the topic drove record attendance for one part of the event.
