In 2011, WordsFresh was the communications consultant on a four-university research project funded by The National Institute for Hometown Security. The project was intended to help water utilities if they were ever faced with a long-term water outage, particularly one caused by a terroristic act. Retained by the University of Louisville, our role was to help construct and document a workshop that mapped the decision-making process of water professionals facing such a scenario. The results will inform a software tool for utilities professionals. This project involved sensitive documents not suitable for a public website. Please contact us to discuss our experience in this area.
